Bridle Leather Belt 1 1/2" Stitched

$195.00

James B. Young Bridle leather belts are a classic belt for dressing up or dressing down. In the making of each belt no patterns are used as the subtle differences in substance and pliability with respect to the belly or backstrap, shoulder or rump ends of the hide have bearing on how the belt should best be made.

Straight belts are made from the highest quality full-grained double butt English bridle leather. The hides used in these belts are pit-tanned using oak bark - a slow yet superior process that takes 12 months to produce a strong and supple leather.  Solid brass buckles and keepers are also employed.

Ranging in thickness from 4-5mm thick these are a durable belt that will bring many years of service.

Sizing: Please follow the prompts and supply a measurement via the form when you add this product to your cart. If you are uncertain please get in contact prior to ordering.

Ordering: Your belt will be made to order by James B. Young in his Alice Springs workshop. Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery from the time of purchase.
