Beam

$2,495.00
sold out

Beam is a case for the professional who travels light. A single compartment is secured with a brass hobble buckle. The wet-formed rear sleeve will secure and protect your device or A4 folio.

A single piece of Acacia coriaceae spans and supports this elegant case. Famed for its superior strength and the heat of its coals, the wood used in these bags has been salvaged from the Western Desert and shaped by a master craftsman.

The full grain Italian bridle leather applied in this construction is firm to the touch and structural in intent. It has a deep and rich grain that will polish to a high shine and patina to record the history of its travels. The leather flows through to the hand-cut single strand braids that decorate and bind this bag together.

Shoemaker and Outfitter Alice Springs - bespoke shoes and boots - handcrafted luxury leather goods - made to order kangaroo leather bags and wallets - made to measure belts - handmade in outback Australia.

James B. Young lives and works on the unceded lands of the Arrernte nation in Mparntwe Alice Springs, and pays respects to elders, past, present and future.

He acknowledges the generations of First Nations people who worked without pay as stockmen and women in the Northern Territory, often on their own lands. He celebrates their craftsmanship, ingenuity and resilience: a heritage that continues to define and inspire Australian leatherwork.
